Bamburgh Parish Council have spent 6 months achieving the installation of the new “Lights around the Green” if we had had to pay, the total cost would have been £5000 which obviously would have had to come out of the precept resulting in very little being left in the “POT”.
After they were fitted within two days one bollard was loose, Pickards the electricians came out to check and reported once again somebody had forcibly tried to remove one of the bolts, vandalised in other words.
Bamburgh Parish Council is asking all villagers if it would be possible to keep an eye out to see if any person is behaving suspiciously around the green and if so please could you report the incident to the police.
