The Bamburgh play area swings into action.

Following final inspection by an independent expert the play area was handed over to the Parish Council by Playscheme, the contractor. Security fencing was removed and the facilities are open to the public. An area behind the tennis court which which does not have the rubber mulch base, remains fenced off for an indeterminate period pending the germination and growth of grass seeds. Further clean-up and seeding of land alongside the path from the green to the beach, will be performed shortly.

A huge thanks to all those who have contributed in one way or another to this 2-year project that provides a facility for the village of which we can all be proud.
