As part of Rotary's 'Purple4Polio' campaign, the Rotary Club of Seahouses & District is planting purple crocuses in Embleton, Beadnell, Seahouses, Belford and Bamburgh. Bamburgh has been allocated around 1500 crocus bulbs and, in addition, the Bamburgh Garden Guild has around 500 other bulbs to plant. Obviously, the more people we have to help the easier it will be to complete this task. It was felt that an organised 'event' might be more fun and to that end we are trying to arrange to meet on Wednesday 1st November at 10am outside the Bamburgh Pavilion. If you are able to help please come along and bring your dibber, trowel or other suitable gardening implement and as many friends as you can muster !
