 AUGUST 24th 2008

The second of Bamburgh's two annual fairs will take place on August Bank Holiday - the 24th of August, 2008.

Bamburgh is an exciting and beautiful destination throughout the year and the Spring Fair attracted record numbers of visitors for the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Summer Fair will be held at Bamburgh Hall Farm in the centre of the village by the generous permission of Cresswell Farms. In the unlikely event of the weather being a problem there's no need to worry as all stalls and attractions are under cover!
Traditional village attractions such as tombola, raffle, tea and cakes will be joined by an increased number of stalls selling local produce, crafts, jewelry, plants, books, antiques and collectables. There will be a barbeque and entertainment for kiddies too.
Money raised at the Bamburgh Fairs supports 2 major causes in the village. The ambitious restoration project at St Aidan's Church, to restore the mullions and the windows on this unique building. Other monies will go towards the purchase and maintenance of the beautiful village Christmas lights.
